unnamed (1).jpgI am forever warned of the scars tattoos leave

but why didn’t anyone think to warn me of the invisible scars that love will create?

people want to tell me how impossible it will be to live normally with permanent ink on my body.

but why didn’t anyone tell me the impossibility of living with permanent ink on my heart.

I am constantly told that tattoos will disable my future and distort people’s opinion of me.

but why was I never told the harsh reality that love will do way worse.

While a tattoo might be a minuscule rainfall in a world of umbrellas and rooftops, love is the powerful hurricane to the little poor village praying for one last meal.
